If you’ve ever been pregnant before, you would know that on many days, comfort is king. However, this does not mean that you need to compromise on style. No siree! And, maternity style need not cost the earth. Enter Maive & Bo.

Gorgeous wrap dresses in flowy fabrics, fabulously stretchy and comfortable pieces to take you from pregnancy through to breastfeeding and beyond – all at affordable prices – I’m IN.

Last Saturday I visited the Maive & Bo headquarters and boutique in Brisbane (which is open Saturdays 9 am-4 pm on Bishop St, Kelvin Grove) to try on some dresses and pick some pieces that will take me through summer in style. You can see all of the try-ons in my instagram stories here.

Today I am featuring five of my favourites here on the blog – some you may have already caught on my Instagram, and a couple you would have seen me try on. I’ve styled them all for summer with simple accessories to dress them up or down.

All of them are very comfortable, and are made of cool and easy fabrics such as rayon and bamboo. I am wearing a size S in all of them, pre-pregnancy I was an 8-10; and I am 158cm tall and currently 19 weeks pregnant.

Which one is your favourite?

*Maive & Bo Marley wrap dress in Santorini AUD$69 {I’m wearing S}

This one is a perfect summer dress. I’ve styled it for a more casual day – maybe the beach or markets, but it would be easily dressed up with heels.

*Maive & Bo Lyla Bamboo maternity and nursing dress AUD$59 {I’m wearing S}

This is so comfortable! I’ve paired this with leopard and tan accessories to make an impact.

*Maive & Bo Allegra maxi wrap dress in jade garden AUD$75 {I’m wearing S}

Perfect for a dressy occasion, I’ve styled this as I would to wear to a wedding or engagement party or similar, with gold mules, a gold clutch and earrings.

*Maive & Bo Marley wrap dress in navy floral AUD$69 {I’m wearing S}

This is such a fun and casual dress. I love this for everyday wear, would also look so cute with some sneakers.

*Maive & Bo Harlow dress in Jasmine print AUD$61 {I’m wearing S}

I love a white dress for spring and summer, and this dress is just gorgeous. I am wearing nude underwear however I don’t find it see through, however you could wear a slip if you wanted more coverage.
