20 Weeks Pregnant Already?!

Although I found out I was pregnant with bub number three in August, it feels like I blinked and missed the whole 20 weeks that just passed. Suddenly I’m half-way and with Christmas, New Year then the start of school for Hannah right around the corner, I feel like these next few months are also going to zoom past. Before I know it (and you all, too!) I’ll have another baby in my arms.

Despite the nausea which lasted wayyy too long, then the heat, and having to wear a compression sock that elevates my body temperature even further (YAY), it has been an uncomplicated pregnancy so far and I am truly lucky in this respect.

This will be the second time I’ve been pregnant whilst I have this blog up and running, and last time I did a little survey each month checking in on how things were going. I am going to continue this with this little one, it was so nice to share last time and have others share similar experiences – and funnily enough I just re-read this one  when I was pregnant with Audrey and my cravings are pretty much the same…bizarrrrre.

So, here we go, the 20 week mark!

How far along?: 20 weeks today.

Maternity clothes: I am loving my Maive & Bo dresses (read my review here), perfect for our heat! I also have been sent some pieces from JeansWest’s maternity range – shorts and jeans and they are great.

Sleep: I sleep ok until about 1am when either Audrey wakes up and calls out to me, or my hip hurts so much I need to move.  I’ve remembered how sleeping with a body pillow or at least hugging a normal pillow, really helps, however.

Best moment this week: our 19 week scan last week. All is well.

Food cravings:  Cheesecake. Vietnamese salad, anything sweet and sour, or with chilli. Fruit.

Food aversions: Creamy pasta sauces, pork.

Pregnancy symptoms: hungry, tired, feeling 40 years older than I am, sore hips, baby bump.

What I miss: Pre-made salad, sushi, gin and tonic.

What I’m looking forward to: the girls seeing their sibling for the first time.
