With Avarcas Australia

I’ve been wearing Avarcas Australia now for a year, and there’s no doubt I love them. I love that they have the ability to dress up any casual day outfit – they’re my ‘throw on and go’ shoe of choice. Perfect for busy gals on the go, they’re also soft and comfortable to wear. You can read more about my love affair with Avarcas in these posts here.

I get asked many questions about them – of which I thought I’d answer a few here.

  1. Do they slip off the back of your heel? No. Be sure to purchase the correct size – mine have softened a little over time however I wear 37 and that is my true size in sandals and heels.
  2. Are they comfortable to wear all day? Yes! The leather makes them so breathable and I find they are comfy for times when I will be walking a lot (shopping, taking the kids to the park), or not.
  3. And I’m not sure I’d wear them during winter, how do you style them? And that my friends, is what this blog post is all about!  So come along and I’ll show you 10 easy ways to wear your Avarcas during winter.

Jeans and pants

My first and probably most versatile way to wear Avarcas is with jeans. Blue or black denim, with prints or plain tops. Throw over a cardigan or coat and/or scarf and you are done. Warmer than sandals and not as heavy as a boot or sneaker.

1. Pair tone on tone with glitter Avarcas (or your favourite colour – try Navy or Dusty Pink) and your favourite knit jumper on top

2. Leopard is a neutral – pair it with other neutrals for a simple and stylish look. Black jeans and a cream knit go perfectly!

Another look at a tone on tone outfit – lilac knits and purple sparkles are a dream and totally fun. Try the multi-glitters for a bit of fun!

3. Black on black – a classic ‘Melbourne’ look which oozes style! Pair your black Avarcas with leather-look jeans, a black top and a charcoal coat.

4. Print on print – throw on some jeans, your print Avarcas, some stripes and even more print and you’re done! I love this look.

A classic but never boring – layer different textures to update a black on black outfit, and pair with black Avarcas.

5. Mustard, denim and tan is an absolute classic combo – I’ve topped my tan nubuck wedges outfit with a fluffy Teddy coat for warmth.

Dresses and skirts

Now, I have to confess that I do live in south-east Queensland and thus my winter is not as cold as a true winter, so I can wear dresses and skirts a lot more than those in cooler states. However, I find there is still many ways to wear dresses and skirts with Avarcas – here’s some of my favourites.

6. Pair your neutral skirt with a black knit and leopard Avarcas. Warm and on-trend.

7. A black a-line skirt is winter-ready with a fluffy cream knit, statement earring and print Avarcas.

8. A fun knit and pleated skirt combo is a perfect match with rose gold Avarcas.

9. Print on print – pair gingham with print Avarcas and a fluffy knit poncho for warmth.

10. A boho maxi dress works like a dream with tan Avarcas wedges and a denim jacket.

As you can see, you really can wear Avarcas with a variety of autumn/winter outfits – which one is your favourite?
