Hello, week 2, where did you go? Half-way through Frocktober already. It’s been another crazy week, with a night in hospital for Audrey, I’ve come down with a cold + asthma + sinus and I’ve had a ridiculously busy work week! Not to mention the return of Kindy for Hannah, it’s rained non-stop, and finally, a very sad and heartbreaking funeral as well.

However in between all of that I did wear a dress a day, and thanks to your help, we’ve raised $410 for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation so far – only $90 away from my initial goal of $500.

The sad fact is, one woman dies every eight hours from ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is known as the ‘silent killer’ as symptoms are often vague and it is often detected in the late stages. There is no early detection test, and that is why every year in October we wear a dress a day, to help raise awareness and funds for research for this awful disease.
