A Hairbrush With No Tears – A Happy Hair Brush Review

October 25, 2018

If you’ve ever seen a photo of my daughters before here on the blog or on Instagram, you would know that they have curly hair. What you might not know that every day, there used to be a ridiculously long, drawn out process to get that hair brushed/washed/generally tamed.

Hannah’s hair is particularly hard to brush, and every time we’d brush it – even using all the detangling sprays we could get our hands on; and special, ‘detangle’ brushes, she would scream in pain, cry and refuse to let us brush it . There have been quite a few days when I’d just let her ‘brush’ the front bits then I would quickly put it up in a pony tail and hope for the best. We’ve had to cut sections out that had matted together which she would just not allow us to brush through. Basically, we tried everything! That was, until we came across the Happy Hair Brush. This is not a sponsored post – when I saw the brushes on Instagram I asked if I could review them by testing them out with the girls, and if I loved the brush I would feature it on my blog. And guys HERE WE ARE. Yes, it works.

Using the Happy Hair Brush on her own

I don’t know how it does it, exactly, but the bristles just slide through the hair. Hannah is happy for me to brush her hair, daily. She will even pick up the brush and brush her hair herself – properly. This morning she did half then asked me ‘mum, can you finish brushing my hair please?’ SERIOUSLY that has NEVER happened. It’s a wonder.

We first used it on dry hair (straight out of the package) and Hannah instantly loved it. We then tried it properly together on freshly washed and towel-dried hair and we were super impressed.

Audrey doesn’t have as much hair as Hannah yet, however her locks are also curly. I’m so happy we have the brush and she can get used to brushing without that negative connotation that poor Hannah used to have! So, friends. I’m here to share this with you – if you are on your last straw with brushing your child’s hair, this is the brush for you!
