4 Accessories To Update Any Outfit This Autumn-Winter | Under $60

I talk a lot about how accessories can update your look for a new season without spending too much money – and this autumn-winter, it’s no different. In fact, I think this season is such an easy one to dip into on-trend accessories, because there is so many around.

Here’s four of my favourite new season accessories to update your look on a budget – in fact everything here is under $60.

1. THE SCARF

I’m not talking here about the big scarf of seasons past – this season it is all about the smaller, sometimes square, scarf. Tie them around your neck, on your bag, around your head or ponytail. A cheap, fun way to update any outfit. I’ve bought scarves from Lovisa and Etsy for as little as $5. Check your local op shop for finds, or check out these ones I’ve found online, below.

2.  VELVET BAGS

Even better if they’re embellished with pearls or crystals and/or gold. An easy way to update a black dress for a night time look, or simply pair with jeans a white tee for day time.

3. GOLD, GOLD, GOLD!

I’d always been a silver gal until a year or so ago – and now I’m slightly obsessed with gold – jewellery, hardware, shoes…LOVE! The easiest way to try this trend is some high shine gold earrings – try a simple hoop or a drop style or acrylic pieces, and let go of the rules – it’s totally ok to mix metals.
