Five Ways With A Striped Top and Jeans Outfit | What I’m Wearing

I don’t think there is anything as classic, in terms of casual wear, than a striped top and jeans combo. Whenever in doubt, add stripes to your outfit and it just seems to work. In my wardrobe, as a work from home mum, a striped top is a basic that can be dressed up or down, is comfortable and polished; yet is practical for hanging out with kids. Jeans – well they’re just a no-brainer aren’t they!? So today I’ve teamed up with Chasing Case to show you just how versatile a striped top and jeans combo can be, by styling five different outfits from the same striped and denim pieces. The pink stripe top is lovely and light, with a super cute patch pocket bringing a point of difference and with the three-quarter sleeve it lends itself to dressier looks, too. The classic navy and white short sleeve tee is an absolute basic – the type of tee you need in your wardrobe arsenal for those ‘I have no idea what to wear’ days. This is a classic shape and fit and goes with just about any bottoms – imagine it with a pair of denim shorts in summer, or tuck into a black tube skirt for easy-going glam.
