This weekend past we spent at North Stradbroke Island. If you have never been and have the chance, take it. It’s a wonderfully beautiful and easy going place. This was my third time, and it was just as beautiful as ever. In fact, this time husby remarked that it reminded him a bit of the casual vibe of Hawaii. There’s still plenty of beach shacks and low key holiday villas, and you can even camp just metres from the beach.
We hired a holiday house, celebrated a good friend’s birthday on Saturday night, went to the beach, ate gelato and ordered fish and chips the rest of the time.
I took along this St Frock maxi dress, and I’m so glad I did – it’s a beautifully light cotton feel maxi, however you can wear a normal bra with it (awesome) AND it buttons down so is also great for nursing (woohoo). I also found the length great for me. It was practical for the ferry ride as the length meant it didn’t fly up in the windy conditions, yet was comfortable for the car ride. Love this dress! I paired it with my fave Misano espadrilles that are getting a massive workout in my wardrobe right now. I hope you had a great weekend! X
