How To Wear Culottes |Moodboard Tuesday

I’ve covered culottes on the blog before (here) however last week I had a lovely reader ask for some ideas on how to wear them, so I thought I’d put together a few outfit ideas. The best thing about culottes is that they’re so easily dressed up or down. I think they’re the most flattering worn flowy, giving the illusion of a midi skirt. They also look best with heels, elongating the leg, however can be paired with sandals for a very casual and comfy look – just keep the rest of the look fun and streamlined. Culottes are so practical for work too, tuck in a blouse or pair with a dressy top in a similar fabric. I’ve kept the colours fairly simple here, however don’t be afraid to try brights, especially for spring and summer. So, here’s some ideas for how to wear culottes, and of course everything is under $100. (Also, check out my dedicated culottes Pinterest board here.)
