Cocktail Outfits Under $100 | Moodboard Tuesday

This weekend I am off to a very good friend’s engagement party and the dress code is one of my favourites – cocktail. I love putting on a little frock, heels and sparkles and dancing the night away. Well, this weekend there will be less little, less heel and probably less dancing the night away (pregnancy is such a party-pooper sometimes!) however there will be dressing up. The event inspired me to do an ‘outfits under $100’ post, and this week I’ve covered cocktail outfits. Of course, I’ve featured black – if you are buying affordably, black is a good way to look expensive without spending the big bucks, as other colours can sometimes show the quality of the fabric more evidently. I’ve thrown in some white and accents of mint and turquoise which is spring-fresh and also loosely ties in with the boho trend. I love this fresh and clean look, you? And, each outfit is under $100 top to toe.
