Now I’m certainly no expert on perfectly pairing denim together, but considering two of my fave wardrobe items this season are my jeans and a denim shirt, I thought I’d give them a try as an outfit! I personally think the best look for double denim is different shades of denim – dark with light denim, a denim jacket with black or white jeans. Here’s some outfit ideas I whipped up (to shop the items click here). If you’re brave, a pair of ripped jeans with a blousey white top and a chambray shirt tied around the waist would also be pretty awesome!
So today I tried my dark denims on with a chambray shirt I had kicking around in the cupboard. It would be easy to dress this down with ankle boots and a scarf, however I thought I’d try dressing it up with my lace up heels and a bib necklace. I’d wear this to a casual Friday night dinner or drinks…comfy and cool.
