The Perfect White T-shirt | Must-have Monday

August 24, 2015

Last week I received a request from a lovely Pretty Chuffed reader who is looking for the perfect white t-shirt. She wanted something affordable, yet comfortable, and obviously, stylish. I have some slight personal bias here – I think a looser (yet not baggy) style t-shirt, with a slight scoop or v-neck is the most flattering on most women, and the most versatile. Worn with a slight front tuck into jeans, tucked fully into a midi skirt, or with a printed pair of pants – a white t-shirt is an absolute wardrobe staple and I think everyone needs at least one in their wardrobe.

On receiving the request, I went on a bit of a white t-shirt investigation myself. Firstly, I asked Pretty Chuffed Facebook readers where their favourite white t-shirts were from, and then I set out to try a couple on myself. What I found might surprise you, and I’ve featured a few of my favourites below, with notes next to those I tried on and those that readers recommended. And, best of all, you really don’t need to spend a fortune to get a great t-shirt – the perfect white t-shirt for you might be just $4.
