A lovely Pretty Chuffed reader asked via Facebook a few days ago for some winter cocktail outfit ideas, so today I went a bit crazy putting together some ensembles! Summer cocktail occasions are much easier to dress for, however winter cocktail dress can be just as glam, if not more. I love a good long sleeve dress in a dark or jewel tone, a statement necklace and some dressy ankle boots or heels. Top it all off with an overcoat for getting from A to B and you’re done. I’ve put together a few options with pants and skirts as well to show it can, indeed, be done. Stick to a simple colour palette or moody prints and you’re winter perfect. All of these items are under $100, of course.
