Apparently it’s going to be quite cool tomorrow, and I am possibly more excited about it than I should be! We haven’t had a lick of ‘autumn’ yet here, and I am really looking forward to rugging up, not to mention pulling out some boots, jeans and maybe an oversized knit! It’s so funny here in Brisbane. We really don’t get too much of a winter so as soon as the Mercury drops below about 23 degrees everyone is pulling out their jeans, their leather jackets and their wooly scarves (and sweating by 1pm, usually) as we really don’t get much of a chance to wear them. One of my favourite cooler-weather layering pieces is the oversized knit. My current wardrobe favourites are a chunkier knit cream jumper and a black thinner knit top I bought on ASOS, which have been worn to death the past few winters. I usually wear with skinny jeans or pants, and if you’re worried about it looking too big for you, go for a v-neck and layer a scarf over the top (just loosely around the neck) – this will draw the eyes downward and to the middle, breaking up the large expanse of fabric. Thus, with great expectations for the ‘cool change’ tomorrow, I bring you today’s Must-have Monday – oversized knit jumpers. All under $60.
