I’ve been posting my everyday style on Instagram since late last year, and it has been such a great way to not only share what I’m wearing each day and hopefully inspire some outfits, but also a way to look back over my wardrobe and see what I actually wear. Lately, I’ve been noticing my style is falling into two styles – monochrome with a touch of denim, or a simple 70s boho style. When I say simple, I mean easy to wear, throw on casual boho style, no flounce or complications.
This season, fashion is taking cues from the 1970s, and when I tend to think 70s I think tan, prints and loose-fitting smocks and dresses, and A-line skirts and denim. I wasn’t actually around in the 70s but I loved looking back at my mum’s photos and wishing she’d kept all of her awesome things!
Today I’ve put together four simple outfits with touches of boho and 70s style. (Shop the items after the pic.)
