Now that the weather is heating up I’m dusting my kaftans off (actually – who am I kidding, I wear them all year round), and hitting the beach. The best way to do this is to go for a brightly coloured number, and embellishments like beading or embroidery also help to jazz them up. I wear mine with a slip (if see-through) and some sandals or heels for day or night, over togs at the beach or if the kaftan is more of a tunic style, pair with skinny jeans (try a skinny white jean) for casual evenings.
