The best thing about the cooler weather, I think, is the ability to layer on the accessories without feeling hot and bothered. I don’t know about you but when it’s really hot and sticky (like it gets here in Queensland), I can’t stand wearing necklaces or scarves, or too many jewels around my wrist. It makes me feel the heat 10 times as much. So what I love about the cooler weather is layering them up, big time!

Better still, winter’s the perfect time to bring out your sparkly, dangly earrings. Simply throw on a dress, tights and ankle boots, a blazer (or coat if it’s really cool), and some doorknocker earrings and you’re ready for a night out!
