So, I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of black ankle boots for winter, for the past month or so. My criteria: not casual but not dressy, ankle but not too short in the ankle, suede leather, black, platform but not a wedge. I would think that was not too much to ask – no?

Nearly perfect! They even zip up one side, to stop those annoying hopping-about-the-loungeroom moments when you can’t get them on.
