Hello embroidery!

I’ve probably spoken about embroidery a little too much here on the blog (check out one of my previous posts on a sweater here!), but it’s one trend I am just really in love with. From the catwalk to the street, embroidery is an easy look to pull off, it is a bit nanna-cute yet is super on trend. Best of all, you can find something embroidered to suit all budgets – and it’s also pretty easy to find at op shops, too!

I’m crushing on rich velvets with embroidery, denim with floral embroidery and appliqué, and cute embroidered loafers.

I’d keep the embroidered item the star of the outfit, and pair back with a simple outfit like jeans and a tee, or a shirt dress, or simple accessories and shoes.

I’ve recently added this embroidered skirt from SheIn to my wardrobe and I thought I’d style it for you today. It’s a mini length which I haven’t worn in years, yet the embroidery is fun and I’ll be pairing it with knits and denim jackets come winter. I decided to pair it with a white tee and sneakers, and a denim shirt tied around my waist.
