What would you wear to a fashion week show? That is the question isn’t it!
Today I’m doing a something a little bit different for the moodboard Tuesday – I’m linking up with River Island’s competition ‘Every Week is Fashion Week’ (soon to go live on the River Island blog here) – using items all from their range to create a front-row worthy look for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! I’ve taken it a step further by ensuring all pieces are affordable (most under $100, but I couldn’t resist the duster coat at £55 or AUD$110 – silly GBP to AUD conversion!), fit within spring trends and are versatile additions to your wardrobe.
The outfit I came up with included ripped knee jeans, a cream tank, pastel cream pumps, gold jewellery and a bright red/orange duster coat for chilly evenings. If I was going to a fashion week show, I think I’d wear an outfit just like this – it’s girly with an edge, comfortable and a nod to the pastel trend without looking like a lolly shop.
