As it cools down this time of year, I often find my wardrobe ‘mojo’ seems to have gone missing. I think as it is often warm for so long, I tend to forget how to dress for this time of year, and with limited time in the morning I fall back upon the same outfits, over and over again (or variations of!).
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I find I often I feel a bit flat, a bit deflated, feeling the need for something different. And then there is the winter event invitations – when I want to dress up, but still feel warm – when often I want to just slink into a pair of trackies.

The cosy winter outfit I’m loving
You know those days when you want to be warm and comfortable but just can’t leave the house in your trackies? Well, this is the second best thing. Seriously! Stretchy and comfortable, these ponte style pants ($39.99 – I’m wearing 10) will work as pants on their own, however would also be a warm underlay to dresses as well. I’ve paired them with a simple tee of my own and topped it all off with some texture and interest (and warmth) with a gorgeously soft poncho ($39.99 – I’m wearing 8/10), which I’ve just finished off with some tan boots. Comfy, warm yet polished. Perfect!
