Today is a getting stuff done day – plenty to do around the house and then out to swimming lessons and back, and then a coffee of course. I’ve had this beautifully classic top by Surafina in my wardrobe for a while, and when I received these little shorts from St Frock I decided to try them together. The result? A perfectly comfortable and practical outfit.
This top has a high quality feel and the transparent stripe ties it in with the luxe-sport trend that just keeps on keeping on. It can be worn tucked or out, due to the hem being notched at the side. It’s also a flattering three-quarter sleeve which, despite our 30 degree day, wasn’t too hot. As it’s a 90% cotton, 20% spandex mix, it has lots of stretch but is not clingy. I have also nabbed the white (here) which I think will be perfect for summer too.
These shorts are the chambray shorts of my dreams! I’ve been a fan of paperbag waists for a while now and these shorts nail it. I’m wearing a size 10 and they are comfortable – I’d say they’re true to size. They’re a great length and will be perfect with a white floaty top or over my togs (swimmers/bathers!) on really hot days.
