When I was 10, the Spice Girls were the absolute best thing ever. I knew all the songs, danced to all of their film clips, copied their outfits and hair styles. And who could forget – ‘girl power’! Not me, anyway. They were the bomb-diggity. Then when I was about 15, I wouldn’t be caught dead listening to the Spice Girls – I was half punk rocker and half RnB lover. And I’m now at an age where teenagers are listening to the Spice Girls again… and if ‘Wannabe’ is played at a bar everyone gets up and has to dance. Getting old is too funny. Now, having two daughters, I’ve become more aware of ‘girl power’ than EVER before.
So when I saw this girl power t-shirt at SheIn I had to have it. How fun is it? I just love the retro vibe, the cute rose print and the Spice Girls-reminiscent, modern day feminist quote. And it’s under $15.
It’s a one-size, and I’m usually an 8-10, so that could give you some idea of sizing. I don’t tend to order ‘one-size’ products from SheIn as they’re usually too small, however on reading the reviews on this tee I decided to give it a go. And I’m really happy with the sizing.
I love a good slogan tee – they’re such fun, don’t you think. I’ve paired it today with my Target jeans and some simple slides. Easy to style and comfy to wear! What do you think?
*SheIn girl power t-shirt AUD$13.67 {one-size and I am usually a size 10} | *Target girlfriend jeans, no longer available online but check in store | *Campus slides from Frankie and Co AUD$30 (on sale, limited sizes) | Rubi sunglasses.
