I’ve always been a big fan of the button up shirt. A pair of jeans and a shirt can be worn so many different ways and for so many occasions – just change your accessories and shoes.
I’m loving striped numbers, embroidery and I don’t think you can go past a simple white boyfriend shirt this season (or ever). They’re super versatile and I think they are a basic for most wardrobes. I loved wearing oversized button up shirts with leggings or ponte pants while pregnant, and they’re also great for breastfeeding. They come into their own in a corporate wardrobe, however also look great worn casually with jeans.
I’ve also featured a few blouses which are perfect for workwear or night time – tuck them into a skirt or black pants – or for night time try a pleather or leather pencil skirt and heels! If you’re after more styling inspo, check out my dedicated Pinterest board here.
I’ll be pairing mine with distressed denim and sneakers for the park, too. How do you wear yours?

I love the Kmart shirt (number 1) and the embroidered ones are something I love in theory, but can never seem to pull off! I bought a super expensive maternity top from the UK when I was pregnant, that looked just like smarts non maternity version- anything to enhance my waist is a plus! Great list 🙂
May 10, 2017 at 3:59 pmI love the Kmart one too – it’s actually what prompted this list! I think is better in person. I am kicking myself I didn’t have time to try it on when I was in store the other day!
May 10, 2017 at 8:54 pmCan I ask about the quality of Shein products? Such a great price but I haven’t purchased as I’d heard quality wasn’t great- what are your thoughts?
May 10, 2017 at 8:42 pmHi Melissa, I’ve had many orders from SheIn – many things have been good quality – better than I expected. I would suggest however to always order items with good reviews and read all reviews carefully, check measurements and size details; and read the fabric description closely. Hope that helps!
