Ruffles and Bows | This Week’s Wish List

Ok so it is officially autumn, yet it’s an average of 31+ degrees here, still. I caught a little cool breeze the other day and it was wonderful. I actually thought – autumn, is that you?! Hello? That was Monday, and it’s now Thursday, and I’m still thinking about that cool breeze, so that’s probably an indication of how long our summer is!

There are some autumn-winter trends you can wear now, however, with some of my favourite trends this season including velvet, denim, round bags, ruffles and bows. I’ve featured them all in today’s wish list with these items under $100; however don’t forget to shop your wardrobe or get op-shopping – all of these trends have well and truly been here before!

I remember in grade 5, 1995, when my mum came home from the weekly grocery shop with a little bag for me, and in that bag was a purple velvet top from my favourite clothing store – ‘Amnesia’ in Noosa. I DIED. Not literally, obviously, but I was in fashion HEAVEN! Velvet is well and truly back this season and if you’re unsure doing the trend (or doing it AGAIN!), try bag or pair of shoes. The fabric is perfect for winter outfits and takes the place of suede this season.

So, here’s my wish list this week, all under $100.
