It’s been over a week since I attended the Problogger conference (or #pbevent on social media) for the second time. Have you been to many conferences? In my former life, I worked in agriculture and I attended a lot of conferences in that career, yet until the Problogger conference last year I had never been to a conference that centred on a subject matter I was really interested in, and one that was not within a corporate environment. So, what do you wear to a blogging conference? To be honest, you wear whatever you like to wear. The beauty of blogging is that there is so many interest points – so many subject matters and so many different personalities. You don’t have to wear anything in particular, but you do have to wear something of course!
When choosing outfits for a ‘blog’ event, I tend to go with something comfortable yet with a bit of personality. For the first day I chose a really comfy yet bright dress, and the second day I went with some culottes and a simple top. (Check out what I wore last year here.)
I also attended two ‘dressed up’ events while at the conference – an amazing dinner in a penthouse hosted by Olympus (yes, AMAZING) and the cocktail networking function, both of which entailed a little more dressing up.
