It’s a classic combo – stripes and denim; and for me it’s a no-brainer Monday outfit. Although I do not go off to a paid job on Monday mornings, I still find it difficult to get up and go on a Monday morning – after two days of co-parenting it’s back to solo parenting from 8am-6pm again!
For the past few weeks I’ve been planning my outfits for the week on Sunday afternoon, with Monday and sometimes Tuesday fully planned out, and a rough guide of what I’ll wear the other week days. I find planning my outfits and just getting up, showering and getting dressed a great start to the day and makes me feel ahead before the day has even started.
Today I went for a classic combo of a shirt dress, denim jacket and boots – a comfortable yet practical outfit for the day. Hannah had a ballet lesson this morning and we followed that up with a park play and now napping all around (well, apart from me!).

How has your Monday been so far? Do you plan out your outfits in advance?

Be good to hear more about your planning process. I’ve never considered planning outfits for the week!
