I was thinking this week that I really need to do a full wardrobe cull. Like, a really deep clean. In thinking about this, I was considering items I would definitely keep, and one of them was my denim jacket.
My fave is one I have had for years, and it’s a classic light-mid wash style, a good quality denim and it just goes with anything.
Denim jackets are a must have in the wardrobe, especially coming into spring, as they look so darn good with dresses. One of my perfect maternity outfits last spring was a midi dress, denim jacket and sandals, and this year I’ll be rocking the look with ankle boots or sneakers in addition to my fave sandals. Right now, layer it up with a shirt, light knit and black or khaki jeans, pile on your denim jacket and wear your hair in a bun….or pair a knit midi dress with ankle boots, pile on a scarf and top off with a denim jacket.
This season there is also the boyfriend style jacket which looks fab with more fitted dresses, or wear the cuffs folded up with your fave skinny black jeans and a striped tee. Or for ultimate comfort, team a pair of ponte pants or leggings with an oversized tunic, sneakers and top off with your denim jacket. Perfecto!
