Bell sleeves are well and truly back this season, and I’ve welcomed the trend with open arms, or sleeves, as it may be! Bell sleeves add drama and interest to a simple shape which is often all you need to add a bit of spice to your denim and top combo.
Today I’ve paired this oversized, bell sleeve denim top with some simple black rip knee pants and espadrilles for a casual and comfy look, perfect for a park and coffee date with the family and then a road trip later on this afternoon. This top is actually a heavier denim, not a chambray, so it’s perfect for this cooler weather – yet I’d also pair it with some white shorts and tan sandals in spring – how amazing would that look? You just need a slightly higher waisted pant unless you want to show your midriff as it’s more on the cropped side. I plan on pairing it with my high-waisted Bohemian Traders black and white zippy skirt next.
So how has your weekend been so far? Have you tried a bell sleeve this season?
