Yes, it’s on again my friends – Frocktober! For the whole month of October, I’m once again donning a dress a day to raise much needed funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). This is my fourth year, and I couldn’t be more excited as this year I’m also a Frocktober Ambassador. I’ll be sharing my pics via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and each week I’ll summarise my efforts here on the blog. I’ll also be 33-37 weeks pregnant during the month so hopefully I can offer a bit of maternity style inspo too!
Why am I doing it again? Honestly, I was going to have a break this year as I’m just feeling a bit too pregnant to give anything a real crack, however what is a challenge if there’s no challenge? As 1 October drew closer I realised that I had raised more than $2500 for the OCRF through Frocktober during the last three years and I am so proud of that, I just had to have another go.
Ovarian cancer is known as the silent killer and every 10 hours one woman dies from this Cancer. The OCRF want to create an early detection test (just like a routine Pap smear or mammogram) so it can be picked up early. I hope by helping to raise funds, by the time my daughter is an adult we will no longer have people dying of this Cancer.

Just for fun, I went back and had a look over the last three years at some of my favourite frocks, and here’s a couple from the archives which made me smile.
