Last night I decided that this morning we should go out for breakfast so we woke to our alarms got poked in the eyes by an 18 month old, jumped in the car packed our usual bag of games, toys and food into the car and headed out to the hottest new little cafe local cafe that offers a high chair and babycinos. Of course Hannah, who has been ‘off’ eggs these past couple of weeks wanted nothing except my scrambled eggs and haloumi. Ahhh the sweet irony. Anyway, it was a lovely morning with hot coffee, tasty breakfast (what was left for me) and no washing up. Just the way Saturdays should be! I decided to wear this new top, gifted from Billy J Boutique – a relatively new online store with some beautiful pieces at really good prices – it’s certainly worth bookmarking, ladies! This top is a floaty, yet stretchy fabric, longer at the back and slimline arms which make it really easy to wear. I’m loving this pop of red too – I’ve been really monochrome focussed of late so it was good to wear something bright. I’m wearing it with my new maternity jeans from ASOS. These are ‘under the bump’ ones which I’m giving a go after wearing only ‘over the bump’ styles last time I was pregnant. These are a cropped style which means I don’t have to take them up! I hope you’re having a good weekend so far x
Wearing:
(Gifted) Billy J Boutique Inhale top AUD$39
ASOS maternity Ridley ankle grazer jeans AUD$59
Rubi mule boots, last year, similar available here for AUD$82
Dotti scarf, last year, similar style here for AUD$39
Do you love breakfast out or are you more of a dinner out person? Do you wear colour in winter?

Loving the bright pop of colour! I used to love going out for dinner but now with a 13 month old, the idea of going out for dinner fills me with with cold dread.

Thank you Nicole! Oh, the thought of going out for anything past 5.30pm makes me tired just thinking about it these days 🙂 I love Melbourne, there are so many great cafes, I’m sure you are spoilt for choice.
