When I was in high school, turtlenecks were really ‘in’, and if you were rocking a turtleneck jumper and an a-line skirt you were so on trend. I had a black, Sportsgirl three-quarter sleeve number that I wore to death and to just about every occasion. Therefore, when I saw that turtlenecks were creeping their way back into fashion, I was not very enthusiastic. I feel like I did my dash, a long while ago, and not to mention the fact they can be very unflattering if, like me, you have a shorter neck and/or a larger bust. However, I must say I am really crushing on the looser, roll neck or cowl neck jumper this season – it’s the much more flattering cousin of the turtleneck, and is a super cosy and warm look. (Note: you can also achieve a similar look with a knitted snood over a jumper – see last week’s wrap on winter scarves here.)
Here are my favourite roll neck jumpers under $100.
Forever New roll neck jumper (size L left) AUD$79.99

June 15, 2015 at 6:04 pmYou’ve been looking through my internet searches! I’ve been keeping an eye out for roll neck jumpers. I remember I used to wear ‘skivvies’ in high school, I had a lavender coloured one I thought looked shit hot.
June 17, 2015 at 7:51 pmIt did not.
I have! 😉 Lavender is always a great choice! Hehe 🙂 Mine looked terrible on, looking back now, however at the time I thought I was killing it in my black sportsgirl number!
