Mustard is one of those perennial cool-weather colours that doesn’t seem to date. This season, the 70s inspired pieces are once again renewing my love of the colour and reminding me of how well it works with denim. If you’re not up for a mustard knit or coat, try a scarf – it works well with neutrals and dark or light denim. Tan is also another way to start working the colour palette into your wardrobe. Here’s four outfits inspired by mustard and denim together.

Love the mustard!! Just wondering if you’re ordered from Romwe before? I’ve seen some great stuff on their website xx
April 26, 2015 at 10:32 pmHi Donna, did you order it by any chance?I was tempted by the mustard as it looks fab in the picture but then I looked at it in the grey option and it didn’t look too great – nothing like the yellow!!
May 1, 2015 at 9:13 pmHi Eilis, no I haven’t ordered yet but I still keep thinking about it! The mustard looks so lovely and a nice colour for winter 🙂 And I think that colour would probably go with a lot of things too. Perhaps I should just bite the bullet and buy it!!
