Yes, I’ve found it – my versatile, everything dress! I was sent this (seemingly quite unassuming) black midi dress by the lovely people at St Frock last week and I saved it to wear today. When I put it on, however, I realised just how versatile it could be, and styled it a few different ways. A black dress is always versatile, and this cotton-feeling dress with a lace hem has a minimalist, casual smock feel. The top’s thin straps, however, mean the dress can easily be dressed up with a belt and heels, as I’ve shown below; and the touch of crochet lace on the bottom give it an edge and a prettiness. I’ll wear this to death in these last few weeks of summer, then when it cools down it’ll be great with a scarf and wedges. It’ll be a great piece to take to Hawaii next month (squeeee!) as it’s super easy to chuck on over swimmers. Here’s how I wore it.
