It’s on again! Yes, last Monday signalled the start of Darecember – the December version of the Fox in Flats Style Dare. I have been looking forward to style daring again, as last time was a lot of fun.
The week kicked off in earnest with ‘stacked up’ and has finished on ‘beachy’. This week was a busy one as we had Hannah’s first birthday party yesterday (blog post to come). Here’s what I wore.
Day 1: stacked up
I wore my From These Hands Cuff {gifted} (AUD$49 here) with some Lovisa bangles and my Michael Kors watch, which was a gift from my hubby a few years ago. Also wearing St Frock top {gifted} (similar AUD$29 here) and St Frock midi skirt {gifted} AUD$55 here. Sandelles slides, here.
Day 2: braided
I was pretty proud of myself for braiding my hair today! I also wore a gorgeous new mint necklace by The Adorn Collective {gifted} (AUD$25 here). I paired it with a plain black Factorie dress and new ASOS sandals ($22 here).
Day 3: to the max
One of my favourites – a new St Frock Cabana maxi dress in black stripe {gifted} (AUD$59 here, also in blue and red stripe). Worn with Country Road sandals, here.
Day 4: orange kisses
Once again I took the chance to whip out my MAC Morange lipstick, which I paired with a cobalt playsuit I bought for about $15 from Ally years ago, a Lovisa headband and orange tassel necklace. Sandelles slides, about AUD$50, here.
Day 5: double denim
This was a tough one because it is hot and humid in Brisbane and denim is not the coolest of fabrics. So today I wore some dark denim shorts by Big W, a chambray shirt from eBay, Lipstik slides $28 from DFO Jindalee (same here) and The Adorn Collective Macie necklace {gifted} (AUD$45 here).
Day 6: gold
Today was Hannah’s first birthday party and I already had my outfit planned for a few weeks. Luckily I spotted this headband at Lovisa the other day and it was absolutely perfect as it has a touch of tropical to it and it is a bright golden yellow colour. I’ve had these sandals for about 5 years and I just rediscovered them in my wardrobe – and they were perfect for yesterday! Dress by St Frock ‘Jill’ {gifted} (sold out).
Day 7: beachy
White and denim or chambray say beachy to me – I unfortunately am no where near the beach today but this outfit’s nice and relaxed for a Sunday recovering from yesterday’s festivities! K mart shorts, $5, with vintage white top, Sandelles slides and hat from Supre at DFO Jindalee.
Until next week!
