I’ve been a big fan of printed pants since about two years ago when floral printed pants were the absolute look to have (remember that?) – and after buying a couple of pairs and wearing them to work, to death, I decided that they really were the practical pant. Now I’m at home with a baby, they are even more practical – perfect for playing and easily disguises dirty fingerprints.
As I’m in Brisbane it’s been a bit warm of late and I haven’t worn my new printed pants from St Frock, but as it cooled down to about 25 today I pulled them out of the closet – and I fell in love all over again.
These babies have background colours of bright, almost neon yellow and mint, with black lines – so easily paired with a plain top. Today I’ve dressed them down for a trip to the hairdresser, but I also threw on a pair of wedges and a black, dressier top to show how easy printed pants are to style up. The pair that I’m wearing are also lightweight so I can actually see myself wearing them throughout summer with a simple cami. If you’re after more printed pants inspo, check out this post here over on Mum’s Closet, or this one at What The Teacher Wears and be sure to follow What TheTeacher Wears on Instagram – every Friday is #printedpantsfriday!
Today I thought I’d feature printed pants as the must-have Monday, as I’m sure you’ll agree they’ve become a wardrobe staple.

Love a print pant! I wear them to work with a blazer, or with a singlet and super high heels at night, or Birkies during the day. Cant get enough, and I have my eye on the River Island on ^up there ! I have to go visit st Frock one day…

November 4, 2014 at 8:06 amThese are lovely – printed pants are the bomb. The dropping AUD $ is not – I remember when asos was so much cheaper. Sniff Sniff. Will think good things about what it does for tourism whilst I debate buying that River Island number.
November 6, 2014 at 12:37 pmAgree, the dropping AUD is not good for online shopping at all! I always add things to my saved items and wait until ASOS does one of their crazy-good 20% off promos!
