Fast Five With The Style Within | Talking Bargains

I love blogging so much. I really do, and it’s all because of the lovely people you meet. These people might share common interests, bring out something in you, inspire you or support you. One of those lovely people I have met along the blogging way has been Malinda of The Style Within. Perth-based Malinda is one of the bubbly, stylish and kind people that just make social media and blogging so amazingly warm and fuzzy. Better yet, Malinda is another Fox in Flats style dare fan, and she also is a bargain hunter extraordinaire! So without further ado, here’s the Fast Five With The Style Within’s Malinda!

1. You’re headed on a mystery weekend away! What three things go into your weekend bag first?

Firstly – Make-up. I’d be lost without it, I don’t always wear a lot but I do like to put some on.

Secondly – Contact Lenses. I wear glasses 80% of the time but I love my contacts for special occasions and I also wear them more in the warmer months so I can wear whatever sunnies I feel like without having to stick to prescription glasses!

Thirdly – Hair Curler. I love my Vidal Sassoon Wave Magic Curler! My hair is insanely flat and boring so this curler is easy to use and gives my hair instant oomph!

2. What’s your Spring must-have?

At the moment I’m crushing on anything pastel or floral. I love the colourful floral patterns of spring and find they are perfect for brightening up an outfit. I also love the softness of pastels even if it’s just adding a necklace to an outfit.

3. What’s currently at the top of your wardrobe wish list?

I would have to definitely say a mid-length skirt with a crop top! I love some of the looks at Portmans and Myer currently and Peter Morrissey for Big W has a beautiful range of skirts that would be perfect for Spring Racing……. Melbourne Cup Lunch anyone?!

4. What is your all time, best-ever bargain?

This was a tricky one as I love bargains and have so many options in my wardrobe! I really enjoy op-shopping as well, there is such great stuff to be found! My most recent bargain that I know will get a workout this summer because of its versatility would have to be the $10 jumpsuit from K-mart!

5. You have been given $100 to splash on yourself. Where do you click or visit first?

I’d love $100 to spend right now! For clothes I’d probably check out ValleyGirl or Ally Fashion as they have some beautiful spring pieces. For shoes, I spied a number of gorgeous shoes at Rubi Shoes just last week and for jewellery and bags I would definitely head to Colette as they always have a great range at very reasonable prices!
