Now I’ll be the first to admit it: I was never really a fan of the trench coat. It’s always one of those items of clothing that fashion magazines say you should have, so in that case I always rebelled. However, this was of course until I stumbled across a vintage Burberry trench coat at an op shop for $40 (*waves to all my friends who have heard this story maybe 45 times* – and also read more about my op shop tips here)… But anyway I love how a trench can dress up jeans and a t shirt, or add casual-ness to an all black outfit. And they’re just warm enough for our Brissy winters. Tonight I was inspired to find a cheap buy by this photo by gorgeous blogger Sarah Mikaela of Framboise Fashion (from Instagram) – her trench is vintage:
