Denim Wrap Dress Two Ways | What I’m Wearing

March 1, 2017

I know I’m not alone in my love for denim. It’s seems our obsession with all things denim is not waning, as denim of all shapes and forms is one of this year’s biggest trends.

I love my denim jeans, skirt and shorts – and my chambray too; however this year I’m also all about unexpected shapes in denim – like culottes here, and today’s outfit.

I saw this dress on SheIn and decided to give it a try – and it turns out it is even better than I expected. It’s a wrap dress however has an internal tie for the skirt and an external tie for the front panel, which reduces any unexpected underwear flashing. It’s also a great weight – not too heavy, and not as light as chambray; so it will work well into the cooler months, too.

I’ve decided today to style it two ways, as I think it’s also a great little piece to dress up as well.

I’m wearing the L and it’s quite generous – I think it would be more a 10-12. I could have possibly gone the M which I would estimate at an 8-10, based on the L.

I like chambray too as it looks like denim but softer. This wrap dress is really nice, pairing it with white sneakers is perfect.
