Oh boy did I fall hard for this top when I first saw it! The simple, blue, silhouette palm print on the white background had me at HELLO…I was instantly dreaming of summer holidays, days at the beach or by the pool. These dreams are never a reality because let’s face it, small children, but, they’re nice to have, aren’t they?!
After spotting the top online, I browsed a little more and saw the matching SHORTS. Yes, indeedy I love a matching set and especially one with shorts! Yay! My fashion heaven right there. So, I went in to the Surafina/Adrift store in Brisbane and tried them on and it was definite love. The lovely Surafina team sent me home with them, and I couldn’t wait to wear them today!
I’m focussing today’s one item, three ways post on the top, as it is a truly versatile summer piece. You can wear this top four ways – off the shoulder, on the shoulder, one shoulder and boob tube style. I’m wearing it three different ways here – my personal fave is the off he shoulder but I also love the tube top style for something a bit different.
It’s available in size XS-XL, I’m wearing the S and it’s true to size – I’m usually a 10. It’s also a lovely soft cotton and as you can see is easily worn back with denim, in addition to the matching shorts. The shorts themselves are a short-short style, however nothing too revealing. I’m wearing an S and I think they’re true to size too. I can’t wait to wear these with a simple white or navy tee and sandals.
The coordinated set would be a perfect addition to a holiday wardrobe – every day you could wear either piece or both together and create lots of different looks.
