The Perfect Autumn Dress for Warmer Climates | What I’m Wearing

April 1, 2016

Guys, I’m not going to bang on about it because you already know by now that it’s still FREAKING HOT here in Brissy and we’re all going a bit bananas (more than usual anyway!).

I’ve been looking for a few more ways to incorporate a bit of autum style into my wardrobe whilst keeping it warm weather appropriate. So when I spotted this dress, I thought all of my dreams had come true! This shirt dress has so many autumnal tones – burgundy, tan, cream, rich navy – however it’s very light and perfect for our humid weather! Also very easy to layer and it’s a half-shirt dress so works well for breastfeeding too. I actually love this high-low hemline – it means you can show your shoes however it still looks elegant from behind, and doesn’t swamp you if you’re a shorty like me. Love it. I’ve paired with a denim jacket and mule boots for a fun autumn casual look. Hope you’re having a great Friday x

Gorgeous!! It’s finally starting to cool down here (thank goodness)! Being 6ft I don’t know if that dress will work for me- I struggle to find dresses that sit at my knees- I think we have the opposite problems!! But I love your creativity in finding something that fits the seasonal trend but is still wearable (I’m not great at suffering for fashion) 🙂
