I’m a huge fan of shorts, especially on super hot days. Now that I’m a mum, they’re also very practical and comfortable, yet they can be dressy, too. What?! Dressy shorts? Yes it certsinly can be done and although today I didn’t go anywhere special I still wanted to look neat and tidy, especially as I’d already changed my outfit twice due to too much interaction with a grubby almost-two-year-old 😉 This top is one of those tops you can so easily throw on and feel dressy in an instant. It would be amazing with White jeans or tucked into a midi skirt, or pair with shorts as I have here. The top features a really beautiful neutral peach colour with a floral pattern in white and grey. It’s a faux wrap front (note, the wrap cannot be undone so to breastfeed you will still need to lift) with a longer back which is practical and stylish. The shorts I’ve paired it with are a couple of years old however Sportsgirl keeps restocking them as they are just so perfect. I’m wearing a size 12 in the shorts. And my top tip for dressing up a shorts and top combo? Add metallics. I love silver so I’m wearing my silver Rubi sandals which I’ve tied in with a silver bangle. Hope you’re having a fab Friday!
