Wedding in Byron | What I Wore

April 19, 2015

Yesterday we travelled down to Byron Bay for our first ever child free night in 16 months (!) and our good friend’s wedding. It was a beautiful low key beach ceremony with a delicious dinner following at The Italian near the main beach. I hadn’t been to Byron since I was a teenager (!) so it was good to get out of Brisbane for the night. It was of course also wonderful to witness a beautiful wedding and I know the couple will be so very happy together, they’re so well suited and just seem to be like two peas in a pod.

So, what did I wear? Instead of buying something new I decide that I was definitely wearing something out of my wardrobe, and I could not go past this navy dress by Little Party Dress. It is such a unique style and a heavier fabric which makes it quite dressy. It is a bit on the shorter side however as I am 158cm tall it was a good length on me. I wore it with my Tony Bianco nude heels from three years ago, and a Rubi clutch I bought for $10 a couple of years ago. I piled on some bangles in mixed metals and I was ready to go. I hope you’ve had a good weekend!
