I was asked by a lovely Pretty Chuffed reader to suggest some ideas for styling chambray, so today I thought I’d do a Moodboard pairing two classic chambray basics – a dress and a shirt – two ways each. Chambray is one of my favourite things to style. Chambray loves leopard print, white, monochrome and brights – think neon yellow and bright cobalt. It’s also the easiest way to get the double denim look – simply pair a chambray shirt with a denim pencil skirt or dark denim or white jeans – gorgeous! Chambray also loves leather, and although I haven’t provided a styling option below, the shirt would look amazing with a leather pencil skirt or pair the dress with some leather to the knee boots and a big scarf and you’re done.
