Tropical Print Playsuit | What I’m Wearing

November 16, 2014

What’s the weather like where you are? Here in Brisbane right now we’re sweltering – it’s currently 35 degrees with an expected top of 40, and yes that’s degrees Celsius! This does not make for a very stylish Jasmine. I’m not a heat lover, and when it’s super hot I get hangry – hot + angry 🙂 Luckily, I’ve stocked the wardrobe with heat-beating clothing items because when it’s hot, if you’re like me, the last thing you want to be wearing is layers, thick fabrics or uncomfortable garments.

One of my fave things to wear when it’s hot is a playsuit, and last week I received this gorgeous tropical print playsuit from St Frock. It’s by Madison Squre’s sister label Wilde Heart, and it is a gorgeous design. It has a semi sweetheart neckline and draped pleats at the front which make it super flattering, and it’s not too short. I got away without wearing a bra – it’s not a flimsy design or fabric and it feels more expensive than it is. It also has pockets. Bonus. I loved the green colour way (which has pops of red and tans) but there’s also a blue design which I’m seriously eyeing off.

I wore it to a friend’s engagement party and because it’s quite eye-catching I wore it simply with some stud earrings, red lipstick (MAC M.A.C Red) and Novo wedges in tan.

Wearing:

(Gifted) St Frock Wilde Heart Tropicana playsuit in green AUD$69 (also in blue here) {I’m wearing the size 10 and I am 158cm tall}

Novo wedges, very similar here by Bon Bons AUD$99.95
