The idea of casual Friday is a good one: dress down on Friday, maybe go to after work drinks, be comfortable. Unfortunately, the logistics of dressing casually while keeping professional and polished is a tough ask. I was a big fan of casual Friday, and probably stretched the friendship a little – I remember getting to work on one Friday in particular wearing paperbag waisted, bright orange shorts and a polka dot top and second guessing my choice. But apart from that one day, I did always welcome the chance to show my personality a little more and dress comfortably. Today I’ve found a few ideas for casual Friday outfits under $100 for you. If you can wear jeans at your workplace on Fridays, you’ve won the lottery and there are so many more options for you. If you can’t, don’t worry, a printed shift dress or patterned pants are your go-tos.
