Another great occasion idea from a lovely Pretty Chuffed reader (thank you Kaley) was what to wear to a function at the in-laws, such as a grandmother’s birthday or the like. She wants the outfit to be girly but not over the top. I think I know exactly what you mean, Kaley! This sort of outfit could also work for the first time meeting your other half’s parents, perhaps, too. You want a little bit conservative (but if cleavage and/or legs are your thing, don’t let me stop you!), showing a bit of personality and yet a little bit dressy and not daggy.
My first thoughts for this occasion were a cute shirt or maxi dress, a midi skirt and top, or slick, dressy jeans and a top.
